Flow sensor includes a plastic body housing, rotor / Oval gear, a hall-effect sensor, and a PCB electronics board. When the water/liquid flows through the (oval gear) rotor, then the rotor is rolled. Its speed changes with different rates of flow. Then the magnetic rotor makes the reaction to the Hall sensor, the hall-effect sensor outputs the corresponding pulse signal.
