The CY8CKIT-145-40XX from Cypress Semiconductor is a PSoC 4000S CapSense prototyping kit. The PSoC 4000S is a Cypress’s first PSoC 4 with an ARM Cortex-M0+ core. It features fourth generation, low power CapSense solution with up to 32KB flash, 4KB SRAM, 6 programmable analogue blocks, 7 programmable digital blocks and 36 general purpose I/Os, all capable of CapSense and 16 smart I/Os. The kit is designed with a snap away form factor allowing users to separate the KitProg (on-board programmer and debugger) from the target board and use it independently. The PSoC 4000S prototyping kit features Cypress’s fourth generation capacitive sensing solution that works in noisy environment and in the presence of liquids. This kit enables users to quickly evaluate and develop with CapSense using two capacitive boards, one featuring three capacitive buttons and second featuring a five segment capacitive slider both capable of self and mutual capacitive sensing.
